Rybalchenko won silver at the Czech Squash Masters 2019!
More than one hundred and forty squash players from 27 countries of the world competed for awards at one of the most prestigious tournaments - Czech Squash Masters in the Czech Republic.
The second racket of the European rating Konstantin Rybalchenko and 53rd Alexander Bulgakov fought in Prague this weekend for the awards of one of the most prestigious tournaments "masters" CSM 2019 and for rating points.
Fighting the strongest squash players, the Germans, is never easy. And if they are in the first lines of the European ranking, the task becomes twice as difficult. This is the kind of opponent that Konstantin Rybalchenko got in the final. Heiko Schwarzer at the beginning of the year already managed to take gold at the Grand Prix tournament in Portugal, and today it occupies the first line of the European rating and has every chance to consolidate its position. The Ukrainian, although he is in the rating below, is also not a bastard. The match of the strongest opponents ended with a score of 16-14 11-8 11-5 not in favor of Rybalchenko, who is currently the second in the ESF rating.
As a result, Konstantin took the honorable 2nd place on the podium of winners and prize-winners.
Unfortunately, Bulgakov Alexander lost to his opponent in the 2nd round and had to fight for the right to take the 9-16th place in his category. Dnipro, having beaten the Czech Roman Moravec at the start of the tournament - 6: 4, 7: 5, in the second round lost the 11th racket of the European rating to the Pole Bartłomiej Wojtunik (5/8 seed) - 6-11, 11-9, 11-9, 16 -fourteen.
In the final match for 11th place, Bulgakov did not have to go to court, as his opponent Ivan Jančička [5/8] did not show up for the game.
