On November 28, 2018, ESF changed its database for event management.

The reason for this is that it was planned at the end of December 2018 World Squash to switch to another system. Because ESF was part of the WSF software, ESF needed to create its own database.

What is ESID?

At the end of 2018, the European Squash Federation focused on the mandatory receipt by each player of a sports license, which is abbreviated as ESID

What is ESID for?

This allows the WSF to make it much easier to hold various events, divide them into categories, structure the ranking of athletes. The introduction of the SPIN procedure will make it easier to carry out the procedure of seeding players in the world.

Who needs ESID?

- professional players;

- junior, participating in the tournaments of the European Federation (Team and Individual European Championship, ESF Junior Circle);

- masters players participating in European Federation tournaments;

- for coaches who plan to get an ESF Level.

What is the fee for ESID registration?

From 1 January 2019, there is a one-time fee of EUR 10 for registering a new ESID. Only new players and players from outside Europe who have not yet played in the ESF tournament have to register.

Players who have registered SPIN before January 1, 2019, will automatically receive an ESID assignment from the European Federation, and can check it by following the link.
