2018 European Team Championship: eligibility for promotion to Division 2
Women's European Championship 2018:
On April 25-28, Riga will host the European Team Championship in the third division. Ukraine will be represented here by the women's national team, which will start the tournament in Group B - they will have to play against the teams of Latvia, Norway, Monaco and Turkey. In case of successful performance - first or second place in the group, the Ukrainian women will continue to fight in the playoffs for 1-4 places, and in the future they may advance to the second division of the continental championship, in which they will continue to fight next year.
The company of Anastasia Kostyukova and Liana Sardak this year will be a member of the national team among juniors Zhukovets Yulia, the best squashwoman of Ukraine and multiple champion of our country Nadezhda Usenko and the second racket of the national team Alina Bushma. Their tandem promises to be extremely successful and we expect this year to get the long-awaited ticket to the tournament of a higher rank.

Men's European Championship 2018:
Our men will also perform shoulder to shoulder with the women's team - their tournament is taking place this year on the same court in Riga. Recall that the Ukrainian national team finished its performance at the 2017 European Team Championship in last place and in 2018 is forced to fight for a return to the II division. Judging by how our guys have grown during this time, it is believed that we will be able to win this right with ease.
As for the men's team of Ukraine, our rivals in Group B will be Russia, Turkey, Liechtenstein and Estonia. Almost on the eve of departure to Riga, a month before the European Championship, following the results of the national championship, it became known that the company to our four national teams of Konstantin Rybalchenko, Fedoruk Valeriy, Podvorny Denis and Pogrebnyak Dmytro will be the winner of the second place at the Championship of Ukraine 2018, our breakthrough of the year - Yaroslav Bagan.
The task still remains the same - to perform as best as possible and take a revenge for entering the elite of the world squash, withstand games with rivals of the 3rd division and prove their claims to be called one of the most worthy teams.
