Women's World Championship 2022: interview with Daria Vlasenko

Darya Vlasenko joined the national team, since it became clear that Sophia Zrazhevska, how small it is to represent the Ukrainian team at the Team Championship of the world of middle women, cannot take part in the champions. A month before the beginning of the tournament, it was a failure to take from the team a high-profile winner of the Cup of Ukraine among juniors, a talent and a promising squash player.

Today we will talk with the youngest representative of our team, Darya Vlasenko from Poltava.

Tell me about those, how did you get to squash when you started playing?

“I drank to squash through my brother, fate 4 to that, having instilled in me the first training, for which everything started.”

Did you win in tournaments before the Cup of Ukraine, maybe you took a month at international tournaments? What are your best winnings at tournaments?

“We won the prizes of the month at category B tournaments, the Polish tournament was the debut at international tournaments. I plan to take more part in overseas tournaments.”

What does it mean for you to go from "zero" to the green at the championship of the world for your country?

“Neimovir is not proud of that pride, at the same time of praise, to bring the yakomog more corny command.”

Are there any players or teams at this championship that you would especially like to play against?

"Honestly, I don't even know, I would love to play with every participant."

What are your goals for this championship?

"Show yourself at your best, get experience, not let the team down and watch live the best players in the world."

The Women's World Team Squash Championship is a biennial international tournament featuring four teams from each country competing on a best-of-three basis. This year's championship will be held at the Madinata Sports Club, Cairo, Egypt, from December 10 to 16.
