FSU work plan for 2022
As every year, the Federation aims to implement as many projects related to the development and promotion of squash in Ukraine and the recognition of Ukraine in the international arena.
Each year, the Federation holds mandatory national competitions, which are the main stages of selection for the National Team, and 2022 is no exception, so in the federation calendar you can find more information about the following tournaments held by the Federation:
- Ukrainian Squash Championship among adults: February 19-20, 2022
- Ukrainian Squash Championship among juniors: March 12-13, 2022
- Ukrainian Junior Open (under the auspices of the ESF): April 1-3, 2022
- Ukrainian Squash Cup among adults: November 25-27, 2022
- Ukrainian Squash Cup among juniors (to be held for the second time): November 12-13, 2022
In parallel with the preparation and holding of the competition, we aim to implement the following planned projects:
1. Preparation for the fifth stage of the training camp for candidates for the national team.
2. Preparation for the participation and participation of the 3rd national team in the European team championships (women's, men's, juniors under 17).
3. Conducting four referee seminars, in order to improve the qualification of judges and acquaint newcomers with the basics of the rules of the game and safety on and off the court, in the following cities: Odessa, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Kyiv (cities may be changed, depending on the need for seminars and stakeholders).
4. Conducting four three-day camps for juniors on the basis of clubs in the following cities: Dnipro, Lviv, Kherson, Kyiv.
5. Launch a series of seminars for parents, juniors and athletes with a sports psychologist.
Daily work
- Accompaniment of athletes (from application to return from competitions)
- Information support for tournaments that are included in the Federation calendar
- Information support of camps for juniors and adults
- Maintaining a national rating
- Maintaining a rating of coaches
- Improvement and refinement of the personal account (-for athletes, -for judges, -for organizers and -for coaches)
- Maintaining pages on social networks, filling the site
- Writing, approving and publishing articles about squash on the media resources of Ukraine
- Communication with the organizers, players on current issues of such activities
- Interaction with relevant government agencies
- Search for new partners to the application
- Cooperation with international squash institutions
- Work on attracting foreign experts to ensure quality exchange of experience (coaching, refereeing)
Also, the goal of the Federation is to introduce a mobile application in which associate members of the Federation (Squash Family) will be able to receive loyalty from our partners. We have already secured the support of many companies and received nice discounts for future users of the Squash Family mobile application. And very soon we will present our application.
