Regulations of the Ukrainian Junior Cup 2022.

Dates and venue of the competition

The Ukrainian Junior Cup 2022 will be held from November 5 to November 6, 2022 in the city of Lviv, str. Shchyretska, 36 FC "Squash Fit Center".

Organization and management of competitions

The competition is managed by the Ukrainian Squash Federation (hereinafter referred to as the Federation) and the Lviv Squash Federation.

Competition participants

Boys age:

up to 9 years old (without rating points)

up to 11 years;

up to 13 years;

up to 15 years;

up to 17 years;

up to 19 years;

Girls age:

up to 9 years old (without rating points)

up to 11 years;

up to 13 years;

up to 15 years;

up to 17 years;

up to 19 years.

Players have the right to participate in only one category, with the exception of players who play in the category under 9 years old, they can participate in the category under 11 years old.

The minimum number of participants in the category is 4 players.

Depending on the number of participants, the organizers, at their discretion, may combine categories, but not contrary to the regulations of national squash competitions.

Athletes are allowed to participate in the championship who, at the time of the closing of applications, issued and paid the fee for an athlete's license, in accordance with the provision "On Licensing of Athletes Participating in Official Squash Competitions in the Territory of Ukraine", except for players who play in categories up to 9 years.

Competition program

November 5, 2022:

9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. – registration, opening of the competition, warm-up;

10:00 - 20:00 - preliminary games in all categories;

November 6, 2022:

10:00 – 17:00 – continuation of games in all categories;

17:00-19:00 – final games and games for all places;

19:00 - 20:00 - awarding of prize winners, closing of the competition.

Depending on the number of registered players, the tournament can be held in one day, this information will be known after the closing of applications.

Conditions for determining the championship and awarding winners and prize-winners

Determining the winner of the match: qualifying matches - up to 2 games won. Semifinals and finals - up to 3 games won.

Athletes who took 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the Cup of Ukraine among juniors are awarded Federation medals of the appropriate degrees and diplomas.

Participant registration fee

- UAH 300 for athletes who have a sports license and are associate members of the Federation;

- UAH 400 for athletes who have a sports license but are not associate members of the Federation;

- UAH 500 for athletes who do not have a sports license and are not associate members of the Federation. This contribution includes a one-time sports license and provides the opportunity to receive rating points for the championship of Ukraine (it is not distributed to other competitions).

The term and procedure for submitting applications for participation in competitions

Applications for the participation of an athlete in the Cup of Ukraine are accepted until October 28, 2022 on the Rankedin.

Grids will be published two days before the start of the competition (03.11.2021)
