European Team Championship: 2022
Our coaches of the National Squash Team Konstyantyn Rybalchenko, Bulgakov Olexandr, as well as members of the men's team Ruslan Sorochinskiy and Timofey Radionov crossed the border, which made us another successful step towards a successful performance at the 2022 European Team Championships.
We thank the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine for assistance in providing information to the border service about the participation of our teams in the European Championships. We thank the border service for allowing us to cross the border. Now all four of our full teams will have the support of their coaches at all the 2022 European Championships.
Special thanks to Vasyl Bessarabov, including for providing courts to our athletes and Misha Tomenchuk for the transfer of our guys to the border, for the meeting and transfer in Poland to the destination Grzegorz Kaleta, you are the best! Together we are strong! Everything will be Ukraine!
Today, the final stage of the Squash European Team Championships Division 3 2022 (ETC 2022) took place in Ljubljana, which lasted from April 20 to 23 in the Slovenian capital.
Results of ETC - 3 Division 2022
The National Squash Team of Ukraine, which in a fierce confrontation with the national team of Israel took an honorable 2nd place, and reached the second division of the prestigious Championship.
As the captain of our national team Konstantin Rybalchenko noted, "excellent results of the championship in Ljubljana will allow our team to play in the top division and demonstrate their character in the game with strong opponents next season."
The head coach of the national team of Ukraine Oleksandr Bulgakov thanked his wards for the excellent results, the organizers for the high level of the championship and stressed that it is important for Ukraine to win on all fronts, including sports.
Following the results of the matches played during the three-day championship, the official award ceremony took place. As they climbed the medal podium, the audience greeted the Ukrainian squash team with the loudest applause and applause.
After the official award ceremony, Ukrainian athletes appealed to all present to help and support Ukraine and the Ukrainian people in the fight against the Russian aggressor.
