For Ukrainian athletes on the frontlines

Thousands of Ukrainian athletes and coaches are defending Ukraine's independence at the sites of the fiercest fighting, including Kharkiv, Izyum, Sloviansk, Kramatorsk, Mykolaiv, and Mariupol.

Their strength of character gained in the sport allows risking their lives in the war now.

Who are these athletes?

Among the heroes is World Games champion and WAKO kickboxing world champion Roman Shcherbatyuk, who only miraculously survived on the battlefield. Roman got shot in the head. Fortunately, his helmet withstood and saved his life. Despite such experiences, he temporarily returns to the sport, only to participate in competitions. Later he is going to change his boxing gloves for AK-47s again. 

We have experienced so many incredible emotions because of them! As sports fans, we now have to support and try to provide the defenders with everything they need. They are primarily asking for:

  • bulletproof vests,
  • helmets,
  • humanitarian and medical aid.

Let's do everything possible to cover Ukrainian athletes. "Sports Angels" project shows the list of names of killed heroes. We strongly want this list to stop expanding.

We will transfer all the collected funds to the foundation Team Ukraine, organized by the Ukrainian Sports Committee and its director Illia Shevliak.

To support the campaign, you can also bid for incredible memorabilia of Ukrainian athletes, such as Vlad Rudnev – a multiple world champion in sambo who defends Kharkiv in the Ukrainian police. Vlad is auctioning his lucky boxing gloves, which he fought at the World and European Championships.

Alena Ogonesian is the Vice President of the Ukrainian Federation of Squash. Specially for the auction she presents:
 
🔹 squash ball with autographs of famous squash players - the youngest world champion Ramy Ashour and multiple French champion Camille Serme.
 
All withdrawn funds from the auction will go to Ukrainian athletes at the front. They especially need helmets, bulletproof vests, and humanitarian aid.
 
The action arose from cooperation "To się uda" foundation and the Sports Committee of Ukraine.
