Sports scholarship to study at universities in Europe and the United States

In the program of sports scholarships in the direction of squash, only in the USA about 30 higher educational institutions participate.

Sports training at universities in Europe and the USA is an opportunity for juniors from all over the world to get higher education, while doing squash at the highest level.

Higher education in the USA and Europe is very expensive, but our juniors have the opportunity to receive sports scholarships that fully or partially offset the cost of training. To do this, you must have experience playing at international competitions, awards and prizes, high rating points at the national and European levels, and an additional bonus will be obtaining the status of a master of sports or a candidate for master of sports.

Confirmation of the reality of joining US universities is the successful experience of our squash. In previous years, Ukrainian juniors joined the ranks of American universities.

Nadezhda Usenko is educated at Trinity College (Hartford, Connecticut)

Julia Zhukovets gains knowledge at the Ivy League University, Yale University (New Haven, Connecticut)

Ilya Presman graduates from Cornell University (Ithaca, New York)

Alina Bushma studying at Drexel University (Philadelphia, PA)

Also, many outstanding athletes began climbing the sports Olympus as part of the university team: basketball player Michael Jordan played for the University of North Carolina, golfer Tiger Woods played for Stanford University, and football player Dwayne Johnson once represented the University of Miami.

Sport is an important part of the American and European education system.

Each university provides its students with the opportunity of intellectual and physical development. At the service of students:

Fully equipped sports and simulator halls, stadiums, squash courts, football fields and other elements of the sports infrastructure.
Students regularly and purposefully engage in a selected sport, participate in competitions and receive awards.

How does “FSU” contribute to obtaining the necessary information for future applicants?

The procedure for obtaining a university base with the help of the federation was as follows:

  • sending letters to the World and European Federation with a request to provide information on universities (colleges) where they are professionally involved in squash so that our players can combine training and further develop in the field of sports. (They answered us: “Such a base does not exist and recommended that you contact the national federations directly because they may have more local information)
  • sending letters of request to universities in the USA and national federations of countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Isle of Man, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania , Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Scotland, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Wales.
  • we will gradually post all the answers from federations and universities on the site and introduce the rules for submitting documents and the list of universities every week.

Participation in competitions will be useful to those who are not going to connect their lives with sports. Targeted, team-oriented athletes are highly valued by employers around the world, regardless of the scope of the company.
