National team of Ukraine at the European Team Championship (1st&2nd division) in England:
This spring, the European Team Championship, after 16 long years, returns to the homeland of squash - England. In the city of Birmingham on the territory of the Edgbaston Priory Club, the best squash players will meet.
The main event of this spring will take place from 1 to 4 May 2019, with over 200 players from 22 countries gathering on the courts. The competition for the coveted titles promises to be an exciting start ahead of the world-class games taking place at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
As we said earlier, matches will be played at the Edgbaston Priory Squash Club on world-class courts and on a custom-made glass court. World-class players taking part in the CCC-2019 will include the 5th world ranked Simon Rosner, the 4th racket of the world ranked Camilla Sermi, the 6th racket of the world ranked Sarah-Jane Perry, the 7th racket of the world ranked Laura Massaro and 15th racket of the world ranked James Willstrop.

The strongest athletes will defend the honor of the country under the Ukrainian flag as part of the national team: Usenko Nadezhda, Bushma Alina, Kostyukova Anastasia and Sardak Liana, the coach of the national team will be Usenko Oleksiy.
The Ukrainian team in the subgroup will meet with the best athletes from Germany, Finland and Ireland. The first game against the German team will start on Wednesday 1 May at 12:30. The format of the European Team Championship has not changed - two teams are exchanged between the divisions. Our national team first needs to leave the group in order to avoid getting into the 3rd division.

According to the results of the draw, the Ukrainian women's team got into group B together with the national teams of Germany, Finland and Ireland.
