World Squash Federation (WSF) and Professional Squash Association (PSA) announced the launch of a joint program SquashFORWARD.
The program involves 8 best young squash players (four girls and four boys), which is not yet fulfilled 23 years, in order to attract the attention of the younger generation to squash, as a healthy and active sport. quite symbolically, that the start of the program takes place on the eve of the Summer Olympic Games among Yunir 2018.
Members of SquashFORWARD become ambassadors among thousands of juniors at the international level. Nour El Sherbini from Egypt (WR№1) and Diego Elias Peru (WR№11) will be co-chairs of the group.
The structure includes SquashFORWARD:

Over the next few months, the group will meet regularly, to share their vision of the development of sports and discuss, how to make the game more innovative and comprehensive, than today.
SquashFORWARD start its meeting with the Dutch Junior Open, which will be held in Amsterdam from 12 by 15 July. Participants in the program will conduct focus groups with younger players from around the world gather under one roof and their ideas, focusing on four major themes: innovations, stability, inclusive and accessible. SquashFORWARD analyze the ideas in the following weeks and form them into a series of practical recommendations.
It is assumed, SquashFORWARD that will share its findings and promising recommendations during the Olympic Games in Buenos Aires in October, where the squash will be presented as an exhibition sport.

Thanks to the program I am sure SquashFORWARD, that we will be able to establish a dialogue between the continents, generations and to form an idea, squash should be developed in the coming years ".
WSF President Jacques Fontenay said: «SquashFORWARD – This program, which is managed by the youngest stars squash, many of whom dream of becoming Olympic champions. I'm sure, that this program will bring new ideas and help our sport to remain in the top rankings, that young people are looking for today in sports, that fits their lifestyle and aspirations ".
